Sweet Lolita (甘ロリ) is a prominent substyle of lolita that focuses on sweet and cute colors and motifs.
Style Basics[]
Sweet lolita fashion is most often identical to traditional lolita, but contains a few prominent themes. Firstly, coordinates are almost always in pastels or lighter colors. Pinks, blues, purples, and yellows are the most popular color schemes. Cute prints are also very popular, featuring cute imagery like cute animals, stars and hearts, or sweets and candies. Sweet Lolita also commonly uses bonnets, bows, or sometimes, animal ears. [1][2]
Sweet lolita is considered a larger encompassing style that includes some small substyles such as Hime Lolita, Bittersweet Lolita, OTT Lolita, Pink Lolita, and Decololi.
