Qi Lolita (チーロリ) is a substyle of lolita that draws inspiration from traditional Chinese clothing.

The Name[]

The "qi" in the style's name is short for "qipao", which is the Chinese garment the style is commonly based on. However, that name is generally only used in overseas spaces for the style whereas Japan commonly refers to it as "chinese lolita" (華ロリ).

Style Basics[]

Qi lolita is highly inspired by traditional Chinese clothing and combines it with the lolita silhouette. It is most highly inspired by Qipao, and often features a similar collar and color schemes, as well as being sleeveless. [1][2]
