OTT Lolita, or "over the top" lolita is a substyle of lolita that focuses on dramatic and overabundant themes and accessories. However, in Japan this term is not used, and such outfits are instead referred to as Decora Lolita.[1]

Style Basics[]

OTT style refers to any lolita coordinate that is considered to be "over the top." This most often means an overabundance of accessories, but can also refer to more extreme themes like coordinates heavily inspired by Victorian fashion.

OTT can refer to any substyle of lolita, but is most commonly seen in sweet versions of the style. However, classic and gothic OTT coordinates are also sometimes used. [2][3][4][5]
