Hime Lolita (姫ロリ) is a substyle of lolita. It has two main themes, inspired by princess-like clothing and a fusion of lolita with Hime Gyaru.

Style Basics[]

Like its inspiration hime gyaru, gyaru inspired hime lolita incorporates an overly cute and pink look into the traditional lolita style. Hime coordinates can be either sweet or classic, but will contain certain elements. Common things across the fashion include the use of tiaras and scepters, overuse of bows and ruffles, all pink or similar color schemes, and larger hairstyles.[1][2]

In modern times, hime lolita has taken on a broader, more refined look, including various princess themed accessories, a focus on chiffon ruffles, wider color schemes including various pastel shades, longer skirt lengths, and a more refined style.[3]
