Otona Girly (大人ガーリー) is a substyle of Girly. It focuses on more mature looks, as well as a style that could be seen at the office.[1]

Style Basics[]

Similar to all Girly substyles, Otona Girly focuses on "girly" fashion, but with a more grown-up twist.

Where regular Girly uses pastels and frills, Otona Girly focuses on more refined and feminine themes like darker color themes, more toned down pieces with smaller frilly accents, and some more toned down clothing choices like t-shirts instead of blouses, or more natural and toned down fabrics. Less patterns are typically used, and black is more commonly seen.[2] Pastels and pinks are still used, as well as delicate florals and polka dots, but are used more sparingly. Pants are also more common in Otona Girly style.[3] [4]
